Join Our Engineering Internships Program in Melbourne to Gain hands-on Industry Experience

Thank you to my Coaches, Pearl and Donna, who guided me into an amazing civil engineering position in Perth. The careers support I received was terrific and I am glad to have joined the program to boost my career. When I started I was put through the career preparation for my CV, LinkedIn profile and engineering interview training. Next, I was introduced to a variety of engineering internships companies who select candidates for work experience. I was selected for an engineering internships program with one of Australia’s biggest construction companies in Perth. I was so excited to have this placement opportunity as it had potential to lead to a full-time job opportunity in engineering. Having spent 12 weeks working as an engineering intern, my placement turned into a full-time graduate engineering job. I am glad to have joined the engineering internships program with Career Success Australia as it opened up new job opportunities for me.

I was impressed with the support that I received in my careers and internship program with Career Success Australia. Naren and the team guided me so well to secure my first graduate engineering job. When I started the process I was a bit unsure about how engineering internships are organised and whether you can actually get a decent experience with engineering firms. But I went ahead as I knew that the key to getting employment in professional engineering was through the internship. I received good advice on my interview skills which helped me prepare for interviews for internships with engineering companies. I met a few companies and then was selected by a top engineering consulting firm for my internship. Over the 12-week engineering internships program I learnt so much and developed strong design skills working on a variety of projects. I can honestly say that this program helped me start my engineering career and I believe that engineering internships for graduates is a must.

The 12-week engineering internships program was a massive help in my career in Australia. I had 2 years of experience back overseas with a multinational engineering firm Bosch but found it a bit difficult to land engineering jobs in Australia because I didn’t have the required industry experience. That’s when I decided to take up the engineering internships experience program to bridge the gap. I was placed in an excellent engineering firm which really helped me develop my skills as an engineer. I had an amazing engineering manager and team working with me and guiding me in the right direction. Overall, the experience I had as an engineering intern gave me the confidence I needed after graduation. I have since moved up the ladder as an engineering professional but I would not have been able to achieve my career goals without having completed the engineering internships program.

I am glad I joined the Engineering Internships program to secure my electrical engineering internship. It was a wonderful experience getting good guidance and careers support from Naren, Pearl and Zee in the Internship team. After completing my internship career preparation, I was given the opportunity to interview with an electrical engineering company. After the interview, I got the good news that I was selected and started my internship. The great news is that I have been offered an ongoing electrical engineering job with the same company. I am glad I decided to pursue the internship as it has helped massively in my career development.
