I tried for many months on my own to get a job in my field of chemical engineering in Melbourne. However, nothing seemed to work. That’s when I started looking for a career coach in Melbourne. I came across the career coaching Melbourne program with Career Success Australia which covered all bases in terms of Resume writing, Interview training, Career Coaching consultations, networking and customised job applications. So, I joined the program and got to work with Naren and Melissa, my two career coaches. We had a few face-to-face career coaching appointments and planning sessions and then started working on my job applications and networking strategy. The jobs were hard to come by as I am in a niche industry, but through their support, I was able to get a few good interviews. The career coaching support I got was great. It gave me the backing that I needed. All in all I can say that when you have a good career coach on your side, the process of getting a job becomes easier.
