The careers support I received was terrific and I am glad to have joined the program to boost my career. When I started I was put through the career preparation for my CV, LinkedIn profile and engineering interview training. Next, I was introduced to a variety of engineering internships companies who select candidates for work experience. I was selected for an engineering internships program with one of Australia’s biggest construction companies in Perth. I was so excited to have this placement opportunity as it had potential to lead to a full-time job opportunity in engineering. Having spent 12 weeks working as an engineering intern, my placement turned into a full-time graduate engineering job.
